Google "poll" and "Iraq" and you'll see that what every poll over the past several months says. If you're one who says the polls lie (when they don't agree with you), then go down to the drugstore or the barber shop or the hardware store and ask people what they think of this war.
What's popular isn't always right and what's right isn't always popular. A very wise man once said that. Amazingly enough, he wasn't you. Also, not quite amazingly though, YOU are again listening to the MSM. Why o Why did they De-Zot you?

How many more years must American troops be in Iraq? As long as it takes to make things stable and the Iraqi forces don't need out help any more
If we pull out now .. it will give the terrorists a strong signal that we are weak and don't have the stomach to defend ourselves
TRANSLATION: They terrorists will be coming after you, me and the rest of us Americans
What part of The Terrorists want to murder you, do you not understand????

And the moment we do that, we will end up fightning EVERYONE again.
This is NOT the right time to do it at all. The Iraqi military is getting closer, but we don't need any external pressures so we DON'T have to hurry them along.

regime change in Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia, and the democratization of the rest of the region."""
Why stop there? Billions of people in China live under tyranny - - why don't you care about them? Why do you only care about dictators in the middle east - - and why must US taxpayers only have to pay for "regime change" in the middle east? What about dictators in Africa or South America - or Cuba - or, once again, the biggest dictatorship in the world, China?

The troops willing be "coming home."--that is, there will be troop reductions before the 2006 elections. Albatross of not, it has had plenty of positive results. For one thing, it has shown that Iraq could be held together--a result that former administration "experts" did not expect. And the game is not over.

Most Americans are against a "cut and run" strategy however. We rarely ever see that poll in the media. I saw one about a month ago and it was in the high-sixties opposing "cut and run".

The airport road has been secured for a while now.

Sorry, military man in a military town. You won't find a majority of folks having that opinion here. We still believe in what we're doing.
Now as to Google...heard of Google Bombs? That's where several people of your feelings load the search engine to come up with certain hits. I trust Google like I trust CNN. (i.e. -I don't) I don't say the polls lie, I say the pollsters lie.
I took Statistics 101, even in that simple setting they taught how easy it is to manipulate the data.

That's true, but this is one of those cases where average Americans are showing more common sense than the freepers who want to use American tax money to turn the middle east into a utopia (which will never happen -- already we've merely made Iraq safe for an Islamic constitution)

Google "poll" and "Iraq" and you'll see that what every poll over the past several months says You mean the polls that are heavily sided with dems and libs??
