oh what a cop-out that is. that line that "kids will be kids" is a load of crap, and rationalization for someone who is flat out failing to PARENT their kids.

My 1 year old daughter is loud. She talks a lot, laughs and throws things. No matter how often we go "Shhh" to her, she still finds it more enjoyable to yell. She's not following our rules so I guess we should discipline her, eh?
