I predicted September 11 too. Today I am predicting November 12, 2005. And on Sunday I'll predict November 14, 2005. I predict Thanksgiving sometime later in the month too. And so on. I'm good at this kind of stuff. <\sarcasm>
Dang! Who urinated in your cornflakes?
As I read this thread, your post stands out as one of the most shallow here. Perhaps you should read some of the other posts, or better yet, view the show.
Before you make such comments demonstrating your uninformed status, you should have read the post and some of the links.
This is NOT a guy claiming after the fact, that he predicted it, it's someone who made well documented plans to evacuate people, based on that prediction and there is a great deal of evidence to back it up. He didn't predict the date, but he made an assessment, that an air attack is feasible and likely. He was an intelligence buff, so maybe he read about the Boinca (sp?) plan back in 1995 and he paid attention to it, unlike everyone else, who dismissed it.
How does a man come to possess this ability to so accurately predict future events? He had no crystal ball. He was not clairvoyant. He was a professional in the arts of intelligence, security, and counter-guerrilla warfare. He had spent his entire life centered on these things. Over a lifetime, Rescorla accumulated knowledge and experience that allowed him to know the how, when, why, and where his enemy would strike.

See? No horoscope -- no crystal ball -- no tarot cards -- just plain and simple intelligence and professional expertise and logical projection, i.e., "If you want to know what a terrorist is likely to do, just ask a terrorist -- or one whose mind works like that of a terrorist.
I hope you'll read the rest. A fascinating guy, a real hero. It has nothing to do with Nostradamus or Miss Cleo.
Maybe when Aloha Ronnie gets to the thread, he will educate you a bit. I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Aloha Ronnie, jdm might need a bit more background On Rick. Then he will realize what a great man we lost that day.
Apparently what you are good at is belittling a man whose foresight saved 3,000 lives and whose courage cost his own.
That's really something to be proud of...
Rick Rescorla was an avenging angel. V's wife.
Wow , that was easy.
Actually, I did see that program a couple of weeks ago and was expecting a kind of Nostradomas thing.
Instead I saw a story of a very focused and heroric man.
