The name of the resort is Soldier Mt. I am looking for a newspaper article to back myself up, but I do know that it happened because my father-in-law and mother-in-law both work on Mt. Home AFB. My father-in-law served there during his term in the Air Force. I have asked several of the people in that area about the resort(mainly because I love to ski myself) and I got the same speech from everyone. Bruce would come to the base and ask for free flights and special privileges, but when it came time for the Annual Military Day he said it was canceled til he decided otherwise.

And, I guess he's supposed to keep a staff to run the mountain even though it's only open to the Military one day a year? What does the staff do the rest of the time?

The property would have went from commercial use, with a staff and everything, to private use. How the hell is he as a private citizen supposed to staff his resort so that he can keep "Annual Military Day" open?

Give me a break! You're way off base on this one. Just because BW doesn't host a yearly party on his mountain for the military doesn't make BW a AH, or someone who doesn't support our military.

I'm not hosting any military parties at my place, either. Am I an AH?
