FYI, Crucifixion is an old and venerable tradition, but it would still take a sick freak to want to carry one out.

I think executions in the US should be televised if for nothing else then the deterrent effect.  If execution is too coarsening for the public to see, then maybe the public shouldn't be doing it.

I'm not big on the idea, but at least that particular idea isn't blatantly unconstitutional as the ideas that have been proffered by some are.
