Hildy, not only are the a number of great speeches, there are 2 campaigns where the President was received with near rock star adulation. You don't get that on content alone...it was his delivery, his passion, his clarity of purpose. History, if not you, will show that the President stepped up countless times and delivered.

You may be right, as always, I can only speak for myself and my perception. I don't think he's a good communicator. IMO he was received with rock star adulation because of the man he is, not the speeches he makes. Which is a better way to be received. SO I guess we can agree on that.
