I agree. I do not understand how people can overlook the lyrical beauty of President Bush's speeches. Okay, not all of them, but the ones that count; they stir me and inspire me, and NO speeches by a President in my lifetime have ever done that (Full disclosure: while I loved Reagan, even his speeches never struck the same chord with me as this President's speeches do).

I revere President Reagan also. No question one of the two greatest 20th Century Presidents. There would likely have been no GWB presidency without Reagan. However, that said, George W. Bush is the first truly great President of this new century. I love and honor him much more than I do President Reagan because, in my opinion, GWB has had far more grave challenges to face.
