Well I've already turned the FoxNews reaction off. Bill Hemmer's voice was enough. I'll watch it on Brit, nothing else.

Great speech. One of his best, even if it was about 2 months too late. But a good start. The President now has too consistently follow up this speech with the truth to combat the spin and lies from the Democrats and their main stream media allies.

OK, but I'm FROM the local republican office (well, in our case more of a shack, but I'm a member of the county party committee here in Virginia -- really tired from the last month's work).
That is a good place for those not hooked up, and I will have to push them to join the fight.
It will take our mind of Tim Kaine, and also maybe will pull us together (we have pretty bad factional fighting here, probably didn't help in this race).

Take your whining elsewhere.
At age 67 I have no energy for the GW whiners on this board.

George? You could at least have the respect to type out "the President" or President Bush.

I want to hear the Kennedys, Schumers, Boxers, etc. on the news every day whining about what Bush is saying about them.

Hemmer is a former CNN yakker. He needs deprogramming.

TOBYHANNA, Pa. - President Bush forcefully attacked critics of the war in Iraq on Friday, accusing them of trying to rewrite history and saying they are undercutting American forces on the front lines.Holy Mackerel!
A decently written (and somewhat fair) lead in an AP story. Will wonders never cease?

Yes but he can't wait until Memorial Day to make another speech like this. He needs to hit the Dems constantly from now on.
To: daybreakcoming
Mail sent to the White House, thanking him and encouraging him to continue in the same vein.
Thanks for the convenient link, daybreakcoming!

When you think about it, consider the time slot, the DEMS/MSM/LIBS think that by not airing his speech and the back out of his speech is hurting President Bush, and think the joke is on him and us, but ?
Think about it ? most people are at work, or having lunch, and would not have seen it anyway if it was on all MSM networks.
The liberals/MSM/Democrats must be snickering about the fact that the major networks are having a media back out of his speech ? but, if you consider this time slot ? Rush with his audience reaches more people than all 3 networks combine at this time of the day and the joke is on them.

Weasley apologies for Islamofascism by moderate Muslims or worse, deafening silence when they slaughter innocents is inexplicable. They're working hand in glove with the enemy. Do libs really think life under Islam would be a walk in the park? For starters, they'd throw homosexuals head first off tall buildings, and what they'd do to Hillary, Andrea Mitchell, Nancy Pelosi and every other woman should make them run for the hills.

I don't mean to sound prickly either. And I'm certainly not a whiner. What frustrates me is watching our beautiful young people risking their lives to defend us, and knowing their morale is sinking because the people with the power to defend their mission haven't been doing it. For whatever reason.
We talked to some Marines yesterday at the museum and it would take too long to detail here the pain in their faces and hear them questioning the rightness of their mission, but that OUR Republicans haven't defended these men and women to the absolute hilt makes my head and heart absolutely hurt.
It was noble to try and change the tone in Washington. It hasn't worked. It is not noble to let lies remain on the airwaves as truth. I don't know how it will be turned around, ultimately, only that it must be turned around. To contemplate otherwise is unthinkable.

And make no mistake, the Dims and the MSM know this, and the pushback from this speech will be fast and brutal. We have to make sure he doesn't feel like he's all alone out there fighting them and falter, and that's where we come in.
