How do we get the message out. How to we, here at FR, help get the message out?

Unfortunetly, the media just spins EVERYTHING

Tony thought that this day should be about Veterns only and their sacrifice and not be used for political purposes.

I understand what Tony was saying and I had some concerns too but this was a booster for vets and current soldiers.

He named Kerry ('my former opponent in the last election'), and pointed out that Kerry had said there were WMD's in Iraq before the war and that we'd better do something.

You're welcome. The Democrats and media try to re-write history.

And tell him that us Army vets really do like Marines.

Heck, I've got some of those "whackjobs" in my own family. :-}

. . . it is DEEPLY irresponsible to attempt to rewrite history as to why we went to war. . . .

Good job, Mr. President. Keep this up, and America will better understand the enemy within.

Call or visit your local Republican office. Find out what they're doing. Find out how THEY'RE getting the word out. Offer to help, if you can. Offer to make speeches.

I have a rare perspective in Southern California, as a black conservative Republican, and the South Bay R office said they'd love to have me speak. And I WILL NOT PULL PUNCHES. I'm also going to get in touch with B.O.N.D., Jesse Lee Peterson's organization, and see what I can do there.

I'm only 20, and I totally get the reference. But yeah, I agree, the generations have 'forgotten' what scum Teddy was/is. Why Massachusetts continues to reelect this guy, I'll never know...

Can someone post a transcript on this thread as soon as it is available? My husband, as well as a lot of our friends, are spending this Veterans Day in Afghanistan and Iraq. I want to email a transcript of this wonderful speech to my Soldier ASAP. The troops will love it!

"He's attacking them for not supporting our troops! Yahoo!"

Alan Combs is going to be mighty pinched faced tonight, declaring his patriotism and saying all the lying, French loving, hate America first crowd really are patriots!

I am so happy he questioned the politicians support of the troops! His comments nailed the likes of Kennedy and Turban Durbin.

I'm glad he nailed them with the rewriting history comments.

Snicker! President Bush didn't dignify Kerry by naming him, just called him "my opponent"

God Bless President Bush and keep him safe. His enemies also wear suits and sit in the halls of power.

Were you old enough to remember the 8 year assault on Ronald Reagan by the mediots and in particuliar the last 4 years?

Reagan was probably the best communicator in America history, and his ratings fell with the Iran Contra mess.

Listen to Rush and turn your whining energy into supporting our president and kicking the butt of left wingers.

I don't understand the reluctance to take on the liars in Congress either. It's easy to do. Use their OWN words against them.

Their support for regime change in 1998 when Clinton signed the Iraqi Liberation Act was astounding. It was like listening to the most hawkish Republicans. LOL

Instead of making speeches, he should be laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

No, he shouldn't.

It is the press who reported extensively on the link between Saddam and 9/11. They think we've forgotten.

That you. I was sitting here going HUH?

Saddam was a fat, lazy dictator who was willing to support and use anyone who would do his dirty work for him. Bin Laden's hatred was a useful too to him. Saddam's support was a usetool tool for bin Laden. They used each other.

Use the Democrats own words against them...any Republican in Congress could have done it with one hand tied behind their backs.

That is what I want to see .. Congress fighting back .. Especially the Senators

I am sick of hearing Teddy Kennedy's speeches and no Senators calling him to the mat for it
