My point is this. IMHO out of the world's roughly two billion Muslims, perhaps twenty million sympathize with the terrorists, and perhaps two million are terrorists.
I want those two million Muslim terrorists dead ASAP.
I want the twenty million sympathizers watched carefully.
I have no beef with the other 1,980,000,000 Muslims on the planet.
And if my figures are off, and it's twenty million terrorists, or two hundred million, I still want them dead.
It's a free planet- or should be. If folks want to march up and down chanting "Death to America" that's fine.
Try to kill Americans, though, and I got a big problem with that.
What we're offering to Muslims- and everyone else- is a simple choice. Live in peace with your neighbors, and respect their rights- or die. At least that's the way it would be if we had real leadership in the world.
You have some good points. However, I think that if we in America are to live in peace with islam, and the nearly 2 billion or so with whom you have no beef, is it not incumbent on the latter to be heard, that they do not hold the same beliefs as the islamists? Or, is it logical to hold that by their silence they acquiesce to the islamists beliefs? Taking your view, they (the nearly 2 billion muslims who purportedly are not "terrorists") are the "Silent Majority" of islam, or so some would have us believe. I am of the view that until the majority of "peaceful" muslims state unequivocally that they are with us, they must be viewed with suspicion, even as the enemy of America.
