I do not think it will be swept under the rug. What will happen, IMHO, it will be transformed into a crazy conspiracy theory like OK City. Level minded folks (like myself) will eventually consider the posibility only amusingly, like UFO's.

Read that post. There was NOTHING crazy about OKC. IT's really a very simple story of a President who when he heard about the OKC bombing said "I hope it wasn't Middle Eastern Terrorists."

Well shortly thereafter, he found it was. There were eight Iraqi GULF WAR I defectors in OKC.

It's a simple story, made really believable by Jayna Davis. Now WHY would Jayna Davis lie about numerous witnesses seeing McVeigh and Nichols associating with Iraqis in OKC? OR do you believe that she is so incompetent that she found dozens of witnesses who swore that Iraqis were involved?

Well, the answer is what's crazy is that you can't seem to recognize the obvious. Re-read the story "The Emperor's New Clothes." It might make more sense to more Freepers.

The decision was made long ago to continue the lie of McVeigh and Nichols- ALONE.

No matter who is President, they're all in it together. They simply MUST cover for each other.

If an American President named Lyndon Baines Johnson can order a murder of JFK, and you still don't believe it (or maybe even suspect it) over 40 years later, what makes you think that Clinton would be timid about a few hundred killed/wounded by a terrorist bombing in OKC?

Ock·ham's razor also Oc·cam's razor
A rule in science and philosophy stating that entities should not be multiplied needlessly. This rule is interpreted to mean that the simplest of two or more competing theories is preferable and that an explanation for unknown phenomena should first be attempted in terms of what is already known. Also called law of parsimony.

All the conspiracy theories such as JFK, OKC, TWA800 if you take a look at them from the point of view the POTUS ordered the investigation to be reported that way become pretty simple to understand. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to get lost.

LBJ- obvious

Clinton- political decision to blame OKC on right wing extremists even while blocking info on foreign terrorists. His approval rating in OKC went from the low 40's heading to 50%. IT GOT HIM ON THE ROAD TO RE-ELECTION.

IRAQ- now that you know that we didn't go in for WMD, or any other good reason that's been reported, it might be considered a possibility that we went into Iraq because Clinton didn't take care of business in 1995. If that's true, and you probably won't believe it until it's printed by the NY TIMES, then EVERYTHING makes perfect sense.

Able Danger doesn't make any sense otherwise. WHY would the government try to surpress the info? Well, because they think they have to. They are all in the game together, and the story can't be exposed, period because you might get mad if somebody really explained what's going on. They are counting on you NOT figuring it out.

For JFK, it's worked for over 40 years. OKC was a snap by comparison.
