I think the issue here is that the board simply wants a statement added to their science curriculum that would state that there is another viewpoint and it's that God created mankind. What's wrong with that?

We don't need government to give us spiritual direction. What happened to the Dover School Board should be a wakeup call for the GOP.

What's wrong with that?Well, there's plenty wrong with just that, but that's not all the late lamented Dover School Board was up to. They used the classroom to push a thinly disguised religious tract, "Of Pandas and Peoples," which they falsely labeled as science. That's just dishonest.
