The Mainstreet groups mission is to defeat real conservatives and conservative legislation. The Gop is much too kind. If you put a dino group in the dem caucus trying to defeat liberal nominees and liberal legislation the Black Congressional Caucus would beat them up so badly they would be crying.

However, rationally this is a good sign and inevitable. It means that our country's political power is inside the Republican Party. The disagreements are of degree of the turn toward the right, not a disagreement about whether a politician will go with the Dems or the Rs.
We have to keep our eye on the prize and keep pushing our elected reps to the right.
