Chávez blasts Fox

CARACAS - (AP) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez called his Mexican counterpart a ''puppy of the empire'' for supporting a Washington-backed free-trade zone at the Summit of the Americas.

Mexico reacted by calling in the Venezuelan ambassador, Vladimir Villegas Poljak, to explain Chávez's remarks.

''How sad that the president of a great country like Mexico allowed himself to be the puppy of the empire,'' Chávez said Wednesday evening in his first public speech since returning from the 34-nation summit in Argentina.

The barb comes after Mexican President Vicente Fox, apparently irked by Chávez's strident calls against the trade pact, said in comments to news media after the summit, ``there we have some presidents, fortunately a minority, who blame other countries for all their problems.''

Mexicans do. Their president is being publicly insulted by a thug. They don't care for this. Fox's party is running for president as election season heats up there and now everyone wants to vote for his party. Before that, they wanted to vote for a leftist called AMLO. The Thug of Caracas may yet be the best campaigner Fox ever had. Chavez may be keeping a far worse leftist out of power in Mexico just because he can't stop popping off.

Chavez must have been one of those grade school bullies who picked on kids smaller than himself but cried like a little bitch to stop if someone bigger than him was about to give him a whuppin'.

As far as I can tell, Vincete Fox is running the Empire. He says jump and President Bush jumps.

Under Vincete's administration, Mexican citizens have been given more rights in America than Americans.

"Aside from The DUers in this world does anyone EVEN CARE what "Commie Chavez" has to say? That man has mad demonic lunatic written all over him!"

That and the butt-load of money he has is precisely why we should care in my humble opinion.

Here is one for you from Caracas With Love, Rebel: After numerous rounds of "Bush doesn't want to talk to me...", Bush himself decided to send Hugo Chavez a letter in his ownhandwriting to let him know he hadn't forgotten all of Chavez' insults. Chavez opened the letter and it appeared to contain a single line of coded message: 370HSSV-0773H. Chavez was baffled, so he e-mailed it to Vice President Rangel. Rangel and his aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the DISIP. No one could solve it at the DISIP so it went to the MVR, then to CNE. With no clue as to its meaning they eventually asked Fidel Castro for help. Within a minute Fidel cabled the Miraflores with this reply... "Tell the President he's holding the message upside down."
