Almost everything on tv IS garbage. Too much sex, too much profanity, too much superficiality. I agree with you about the problem, but not with the solution. Only having available "Government Approved™ " content is not a future I look forward to.

Then why when I was growing up in the (well, a long time ago), families could sit down and watch TV together without telling the kids to cover their eyes or their ears. Was it because we had laws back then that are no longer enforced? Or was it because there was some decency expected? And movies these days - I have only been to one movie in the past 8 or 9 years and it was Dreamer. That was a good family movie and I enjoyed it. I won't pay good money to see trash. Hollywood keeps getting more and more perverted. One reason is because Hollywood is so anti-Christian and has no sense of morality at all. TV isn't far behind. And the entertainment industry is full of homosexuals who love promoting garbage. If you want to defend that, be my guest.
