If you'd read the thread, you'd have known my kids are 23, 22, and 19. I censored my kids, I didn't depend upon the government to do it. I know my kids better than they do. My oldest is a med student, and I allowed her to watch stuff that I wouldn't let the others watch. My middle is a soldier in Iraq protecting our freedoms. My youngest is still figuring it out. The solution it to get rid of the tv. If enough did, the marketeers would have to rethink their programming options.

I can't agree with you more.

BTW kudos to you and your family, especially your child in Iraq defending freedom.
Thank you

Tell your son that our thoughts and prayers are with him. God bless him, and we all say "thank you" for his service.

You raised your children quite a while ago. I remember 20 years ago. TV was not NEARLY as bad as it is today. You had it easy. Try keeping your kids from the crap today. It's damn near impossible and I'm vigilant about it.

In a perfect world everyone would get rid of their tv's. Since that will never happen, we need to watch what we show on tv to protect our kids. I can't believe there are people here arguing with that.

Oh, and I salute your son in Iraq for his service to our country.
