I disagree. When you go to ANY of those pages, the left side gives you a "narrow your results" option. The point is that you go through the annoying "are you sure you didn't really mean HOLIDAY instead of CHRISTMAS" page first, whereas the others don't.
Just be consistent. Either take down the obnoxious intermediate page from Christmas, or add it to Chanukah and Kwanzaa!
When I have designed web pages with multiple results searches I have done the same thing Walmart did. However, I do agree that it can give the appearance of favoring one celebration over another.
