I don't disagree with the assessment that the Arab street has learned a lesson from Palestine vis-a-vis "land for peace", but I still think you're giving Al Qaeda too much credit as political scientists. Of course, if the PLO could mutate into a quasi political body, so could al Qaeda, but I don't believe they can accomplish that with loose cannons like Zarqawi walking around, and the Jordanian bombings are proof of this.
It bears watching, but I still don't see the fingerprints of AQ behind this.

We will just have to watch the situation closely and see what develops, but with the MSM sweeping the French insurrection under the rug we may never really know the facts.
