Anybody that could still believe that the attacks throughout Frence were NOT coordinated and planned long before the events has to be living in a dream world. From the first, the attacks have been almost exclusively directed at provoking the response of the police, and when the two young men made an egregious error of judgment by getting themselves electrocuted, that was the kind of incident the perpetrators were looking for. With a cover of moral outrage, the young men, who had been harangued and needled into distrust of their ethnic Frenchish countrymen, by the imams and mullahs in the mosques, had a "perfect" excuse to go on a rampage of pillage and destruction.

With their foot soldiers enscounced in so many places in Europe, the counter-Crusade was ready to commence.

Frence may even yet throw the rascals out, but this (baloney) about liberty, equality and fraternity will have to be thrown out as well.

Napoleon Bonaparte, now that Frence needs you, where are you?

Buonoparte would draft them and attack Italy. He'd love all having all those immigrants.

If these were coordinated and planned attacks, then we have nothing to fear of Islam but burned out cars.

I guess I'm in the minority on FR, but this is not an AQ plot. This has none of the hallmarks of an AQ plot. One man was killed, but that's probably par for the course on an average night in the Paris slums. Everyone here is breathlessly reporting the fall of France, and frankly, if you look at the facts, they had 13 nights of "terrorism" and one death. There were more deaths on the first night of the Rodney King riots. So, if this is the new modus operandi of AQ, then the future is bright indeed!

Sorry, this is not the counter-Crusade, either. This bears no resemblance to the Iraqi insurgency, and so far, no suicide bombers blowing up Paris cafes. I realize there are some people disappointed that the Eiffel Tower has yet to collapse like the World Trade Center, but if this is the best the disaffect Muslim street can muster up, then this will dissipate quickly over the next few days.

So far as riots go, I'm not impressed.
