What's the deal with the redistricting law? I thought it was similar to the one in Ohio that we conservatives overwhelmingly opposed (and it's losing 70/30).
The thought is that no retired judge is truly impartial and that whomever is governor at the time will be able to pick the judges and thus pick the district lines.
Still, the final lines have to be approved by the voters, so if anything is too gerrymandered one would hope the voters would nuke it.
