The issue will be decided one way or the other, by the will of the people or by the black robed oligarchy. They struck down the Texas Sodomy laws, What's to prevent them from throwing the Texas constitution in to the trash bin?
We can hope that Roberts, and Alito (if he wins) will be sane. And maybe, if luck holds out, one more. But something is dreadfully wrong if the entire fate of the country rests with the SCOTUS. That's not the way the founders planned it.
I'm coming to the conclusion that when Congresscritters get elected most of them (or a great many of them) turn rotten, even if they weren't rotten to begin with.
