France has disarmed it citizens so now they are forced to fight with whatever they can find. A lesson to all of you gun control nuts.
I'd like to know if a law abiding citizen of France can own any firearm...
Actually, gun ownership in France (including handguns) isn't nearly as restricted as it is in many European countries. The French own guns, they just seem unwilling to use them.
I think the first thing they should be looking for is some testosterone.
Why do you think France is disarmed?
In France, you can purchase and own a hunting rifle without a license and without registration.
Other weapons, such as military-style weapons and handguns, need to be registered.
But France's gun laws concerning hunting weapons are probably more relaxed than American laws on the subject are (in the US there are complicated interstate transport laws, etc.).
Where do people get these ideas?
There is a template out there: France = socialist = no liberties of any type, and no guns.
It's not true. The French like to hunt. Always have. There are lots and lots of hunting weapons in France, unregistered, unlicensed, and they are easy to get too.
