1:00 AM in France. Scouring the wires, nothing much about any violence except about a bus being burned in Toulouse.

It was the same last night, no news during the evening hours east coast time, then I wake up this morning to find the violence and damage had escalated from Saturday night.

Thx Dane. Probably same tonight. Looks like things aren't slowing down.

From an AP story filed about a half hour ago:

"Outside the capital in Sevran, a junior high school was set ablaze, while in another Paris suburb, Vitry-sur-Seine, youths threw gasoline bombs at a hospital, police said."

Other than that, there has been precious little news.
