I thought that "Isle" is an island in the Seine IIRC, that "Isle" is "Isle de Paris" an island on the Seine, . Where the Cathedral of Notre Dame is located, beautiful Cathedral, BTW.

IIRC, Notre Dame Cathedral is on Ile de la Cite and the other smaller island is Ile Saint-Louis.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. That makes sense--700 cars seemed like a lot for just one Quarter.
Where the Cathedral of Notre Dame is located, beautiful Cathedral, BTWYes, it is beautiful. I went to France in high school.
It would be a tragedy if some of the culture/architecture was destroyed.
