A situation that is not unique to France.

One has to wonder when will that happen here with the poor and illegals and whoever else has entered this country?

Say what you want about Mexicans, they have a hard work ethic and would rather work for $$$ than blow up cars.

We have much, much more social mobility than the French, and many more opportunities for work, even at the lowest levels. Because of their socialist economy, the people at the bottom are truly trapped in a way that they aren't here (not that that excuses anything). European countries live with chronic unemployment rates in double digits.
