"Take these three together and you have a Europe that is incapable of direct, effective action."

You're talking about European governments, not what lies in the peoples' hearts. Minds can be manipulated for awhile, but intuition, instinct and the will to survive lies in the heart. When 'the people' are threatened as they are now, instinct and logic will surface and take control. If there were another 9/11 type attack in America, I believe you'd see PC get flushed down the toilet faster than yesterday's dinner.

PC may look like a 'King' with firm control in the West, but it's a 'king' whose reign is almost over. That's why the media and the libs fight so viciously to maintain it. It's hold on people is a superfluous one, and it will slip like a greased glove when the people finally realize they've been duped and their very existence is at stake. I think the end of PC is around the corner and coming fast. It's an insurrection or major terror attack away from being extinquished. In France, it may be ending right now. I just hope it's not too late.

I hope you're right too, but my gut tells me otherwise. The essence of being a liberal is to ignore reality at all cost when it conflicts with what you think should be true. What will it take to turn a Liberal into a Conservative? Probably nothing short of having a catastrophic experience that causes you to rethink your most basic assumptions (ever see "Death Wish"?)

Also, as the Muslim population grows, the cost of taking action gets progressively higher--but its a slow process. Solving the problem will be painful & ugly now, but it will be nearly impossible later. The French think they have time and will opt for more liberal solutions first. This will be a fatal mistake. My take is that France will dither for another 15-20 years before realizing that the frog is indeed in boiling water. By that time the options will either be surrender (by emigration to the USA) or full-scale civil war.
