I wanted to know how you were positive he was a civilian - and if he had been real young then the possibility was higher that he had no military connections - even clandestine ones.

Also, there are pictures of Serb men and women being mass hung in Belgrade and Novi Sad - and this was written by Ruth Mitchell (an American spy who was there at the beginning of the war) in her book "The Serbs Choose War".

Yet despite the photos and records, an American named Philip Cohen writes a book called "Serbia's Secret War" which is pushed in some highschools and universities and basically says Serbs welcomed and cooperated with the Germans and didn't suffer all that much. This, despite all the 100s of thousands of Serbs imprisoned or murdered by the Germans.

I just wonder why all the Serbs, such as those posting on this forum, who had this happen to relatives, are generally silent on the lies and propaganda against Serbs that seems to be a mainstay in Balkan curriculums in the U.S.
