Who can forget Janet Nero from Florida? I wonder how many remember that flyer her DOJ sent out to law enforcement on telltale signs that someone might be a terrorist or "anti-government extremist"? Things like - contributing to religious causes, emphasizing the Constitution especially the 2nd amendment , attending midweek prayer meeting or Bible study, homeschooling, belief in Biblical prophecy, or (my favorite) having a fish symbol on your car.

Sorry, that an urban legend.

"Sorry, that an urban legend."

Sorry, but that Snopes article - which Snopes sources from the Washington Post -is about a 60 Minutes interview. It's not about the documents in question: flyers and faxes to LE agencies from the DOJ (as I stated), and not by Reno personally. Also doesn't account for my being shown copies.

That said, the picture of Janet on that page is so good that she could almost pass for a transvestite.

Anyone know what the biggest urban legend of all is?
