Even before. The Democrats were the party of Slavery all thur out the Antebellum period. Interesting that African American radicals want to condemn the whole USA because the "Founding Fathers" were slave owners yet turn right around and work for the Democrats. The Party of Slavery and Segregation

Also not all Founding Fathers where slave owners.. Also didn't George Washington decided to slowly phase out slavery before he died..
