They should have put a sign on the door, "Koran Study Group in Session - Do not disturb at risk of behedding."

I guarantee the University wouldn't have said a word.

The university claims the ban is necessary because some students might not feel RAs who lead Bible studies are "approachable.”

Yeah, right. And if the RA was leading a "gay/lesbian/bi/questioning/transgender support group," any student that had a problem with that would be told to grow up and stop being "hateful."

I understand America is 85% Christian. What's the big deal? And what's wrong with the Bible? And why would someone who leads Bible study groups be "unapproachable?" Wouldn't just the opposite be true?

You know, there are a lot of question marks in this post of mine!

I would bet if an RA hosted a party at his dorm, and the guys watched a little porn, the University would not say a word...

UW State Colleges are bastions of Marxism funded by tax payers dollars...

Wonder when Campus Crusade for Christ or Coalition of Christian Athletes will be thrown off campus..

Naturally the gay and lesbian student alliance will remain fully funded and approved of.

The bible study groups will have to go underground like the Christians in Red China and N. Korea.

Blatant viewpoint discrimination. Being a Christian is singled out as the ONLY identity that might make someone "unapproachable." If someone expressed fear of approaching someone because they were gay or a feminist, the administration would criticize the student for his bigotry, not ban gays or feminists from being RAs.

Hard to say, but I suspect this is the result of the "Tunnel of Oppression" initiative worming its way through the UWEC Office of Housing & Residence Life organized by the MOSAIC (Making Our School an Intercultural Community) task force. If so, there's even more unconscionable acts on the horizon. Do your diligence and research. I'm curious if anyone else finds the dots connected in the same way.

The underlying reason for this is fear of lawsuits, I'm guessing. That is the real enemy - those with the anti-Christian agenda have bent the tort system to do their dirty work for them.
