To: Jim Robinson

Aside from the Planned Parenthood and Christian crèche rulings, Alito has found in one case that the constitution does not require states to enact family and medical leave legislation. That tells me more about him than any amount of nicknaming or cheerleading. I think we have a winner here.

Hopefully, he has no skeletons and Frist can keep McCain and his toadies in check. But as with Clarence Thomas, even in the face of low tactics by liberals, Alito seems destined for the high court.

Even if he doesn't, the Liberals character assassins will be sure to manufacture some, ala Clarence Thomas, or totally vicious slander, ala Robert Bork.

This will be one nasty fight for Judge Alito. IMHO, we will win it and the one for the next vacancy will be even nastier, if possible. Stalinists don't go easily into the dark night!
