Hindsight is 20/20. Had he thought of it he should have said, "If you care to rephrase your question I'd be happy to answer". In any case it was not McClellan who lost the round.

Because, while I hate to turn this into a knock on Scott McClellan's "abilities", he is woefully over his head in dealing with these asps and effectively advancing and defending the administration's positions. I envision someone like Mark Steyn humiliating these rotten turds at every turn and loving every second of it.

You're right....this was a GOLDEN opportunity for payback for all the BS he has gotten....he should have said: "Pardon me John, could you repeat that, I don't think I heard you correctly....."

Lets get conservatives to have more aggressive with their opponents.....the opposition has been doing it to us for years! (and it used to work)
