At least Dick Cheney has a brain to conduct a psychological test on Mr. Rangel.

Rangel reminds be of the mob boss in the Dirty Harry film Sudden Impact who keels over dead at his daughter's wedding when Harry busts into the party, strolls up to his table, and reels off a few things he and his wedding party didn't want to hear.

Charecter actor Michael V. Gazzo. If you remember his voice, it sounds exactly like Charlie.

...Cheney has things going for him that Rangel doesn't, and that REALLY pisses him off...

I am laughing so hard right now. I am thinking of a thread about Cheney and a picture which was eventually pulled. Some might have been offended by it and the mods were probably right to pull it. But is was good, almost clean fun. And damned funny!

By the way, about the time change. If it is 11:00 do I set the clock to 10 or 12? I am 51 and can never remember.

Fall back to 10 O'Clock. I am working tonight. That means I have to stay an extra hour.

"Rangel is a moron."

You slander all morons. I suggest we coin a new term for that combination of stupidity, ignorance and arrogance represented in Rangel.

Thanks...
Having an extra hour is always harder than losing an hour. Screws up the body clock big time.

This guy is such an idiot. What a district that would keep electing him over, and over, and over again.

"Congressman Charles Rangel is stepping up his attacks on Vice President Dick Cheney, saying he should take a psychological test if he wants to stay in office."

Someone should point out to Rangel that the Constitution does not authorize a psychological test for the office of Vice-President. It prescribes an electoral test - Cheney already passed.

Rangel is a moron.

No, he is not a moron. He is a demagogue.

Morons are usually quite harmless. Demagogues are not.

Well said - thank you. We are seeing the face of calculated evil, and we are letting it go unchallenged. There are House rules which cover contingencies such as this. If the tables were reversed and the Democrats controlled the House and the Vice-Presidency, they would immediately censure any Repub Congressman who said this about a Democrat Vice-President.

Rangel is really showing up the Vice President with his own intelligence and maturity: "my daddy can beat up your daddy"

I must say...I know why they pulled it...it was quite dramatic.

I don't think I enjoyed the naughtiness of a thread quite as much as that one...I had trouble repressing a laugh every single time I saw the VP after that.

You have to admit-the subject is rife with double-entendres, smirks, race, sex, stereotypes...all the things people in authority SAY we shouldn't find entertaining, but do.
