Oh, I think marriage is extremely important, especially if you want children. But being a realist, I see it becoming less and less important to the younger generation. So many children have siblings they don't even know. I don't expect it to get better any time soon.

I guess it all depends, but I sure seem to be buying lots of wedding presents for nieces and nephews these days. Seems like there's a wedding every other week in my family and my wife's family. And the ones that are already married? Man, they're making babies at a frightening rate.

This is going to adversely affect my bank balance, I'm sure. As a childless uncle and aunt, my wife and I...well let's just say there are expectations of us.

Love those kids!
