She came back to work in Washington in 1997, after Aldrich Ames outed her as covert.
However, her status was still listed as covert at the time she made the donation. I'm not clear as to what she legally could or couldn't do.
Part of the issue about her being outed is that she is still listed by the CIA as being "covert" .. but she has not worked in that capacity since 1997.

If Brewster Jennings ia a legal corporate entity then she told the truth.
The fact it is a covert entity is irrelevant if it exists as a legal entity.
Yeah, there's an idea - let's prosecute all our covert government agents who list shell companies on legal documents. Or even better, let's only selectively prosecute certain ones for political purposes.
I hope that no prosecutor would even consider your idea. It would further weaken the ability of CIA agents to do their job, something which the Clinton and prior administrations have already done enough of.
I, too, see no violation of any imaginable law in how she filled out that form. This looks legit to me.
There are better places to spend our energy.
