So this afternoon, I walked over to Pershing Square to check out the Anti-Reform rally with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Howard Dean, and Senators One-Bill Gil Cedillo and Jack Scott. Although it was starting at 4 o’clock, the site was fairly empty but for maybe forty people when I arrived.
I walked around and noticed that they were bussing people in for the event.
In fact they clearly labeled their "buss stop"...
In fact, not one but all of the signs had the same mistake covered by the same red tape (how fitting for a union-sponsored event!)
Ironically, the union members being “busssed” in were protesting a measure to improve standards for teacher quality in public schools.
