Could be our unnamed CIA officer from the Hersch article I referenced in my notes. Hersch also wrote the forward for Baer's book that exposed corruption in the CIA.
Baer has been described by quite a few people as perhaps the best in his field. We watched a Discovery or History channel story about him. It takes a special breed.
And he was outted by Congress and NOTHING was done. NOTHING.
Maybe he was too effective for the Clinton administration, since his specialty was Islamic jihadists and the Clinton's were into doing nothing about that little problem. hmmm
