If that's all they have, I think he should take a leave.
Nobody at the White House seems to think it's that bad: Scooter was at the morning staff meeting.
Doesn't sound like a resignation to me.
It's NOT that bad IMO, considering what it could have been.
Are you hearing the Dem pundits today? They are trying SO hard to make this sound worse than it is. "This is bad for the WH, yada, yada, yada". What they don't get, is the majority of the American people who even care about this story are gonna look at these charges and laugh.
"Nobody at the White House seems to think it's that bad: Scooter was at the morning staff meeting."
I could see that staff meeting now.
"Ok Aide to Libby, you go and leak it to the press that Fitz is going to indict Scooter"
"You, other aide, go to WAPO and leak that they are going to hold off Carl's indictment and get a new GJ"
{Phone Call to Fitz from Cheney}
"Hey Fitz, Dick here. You can go ahead and kill the GJ without indictments now. Think we embarrassed the MSM enough for one day. And by the way, stop over for dinner next week, Lynn is making a ham and I think Gonzalez will be there. Said something about getting you on the bench"
{Call from Bush to Cheney}
"Hey Dick, is the plan moving forward?"
"Yes Mr. President, just like karl said it would".
"Good good, OK, I am going to call a presser first thing Monday morning to announce Justice Brown for SCOTUS"
"That's great Mr. President. What about Harriet? She did great with the couple of weeks of hell, just like Karl said she would."
"Harriet is a strong gal, Dick. Next time you are on Hannity, thank him for me. Him and the rest of the pundits did great in their destruction of her."
"I wil Mr. President. By the way, should we announce tomorrow or do you want to wait till next week that we caught Zarquawi?"
"Let's wait Dick, I don't think the press can handle all of this. have a great weekend"
"You too Mr. President."
