I love watching Chrissy foam at the mouth prattling incoherently. I laughed so hard when he accused the White House of being filled with "arrogant bastards" and spittle was flying from his mouth.

This is the condensed version...

Jul 14, 2003
by Robert Novak

WASHINGTON -- The CIA's decision to send retired diplomat Joseph C. Wilson to Africa in February 2002 to investigate possible Iraqi purchases of uranium was made routinely at a low level without Director George Tenet's knowledge. Remarkably, this produced a political firestorm that has not yet subsided.

Wilson's mission was created after an early 2002 report by the Italian intelligence service about attempted uranium purchases from Niger, derived from forged documents prepared by what the CIA calls a "con man." This misinformation, peddled by Italian journalists, spread through the U.S. government. The White House, State Department and Pentagon, and not just Vice President Dick Cheney, asked the CIA to look into it.

All this was forgotten until reporter Walter Pincus revealed in the Washington Post June 12 that an unnamed retired diplomat had given the CIA a negative report. Not until Wilson went public on July 6, however, did his finding ignite the firestorm.

He has seemed much more critical of the administration since revealing his role in Niger. In the Washington Post July 6, he talked about the Bush team "misrepresenting the facts," asking: "What else are they lying about?"

The story, actually, is whether the administration deliberately ignored Wilson's advice, and that requires scrutinizing the CIA summary of what their envoy reported. The Agency never before has declassified that kind of information, but the White House would like it to do just that now -- in its and in the public's interest.

******

The facts are these: (1) Bob Novak did not say that Valerie Plame was a secret agent; (2) David Corn did; (3) we don’t know who Bob’s sources were; (4) we know David’s source was Joe Wilson.

Still waiting for the link to your preposterouis claims. Changing the subject, lefty, won't make me go away. Have the courage to admit what you are instead of behaving like the rest of the snieling libs

I Just got to your stupid post. How the hell am I supposed to respond until I read it? Also it would be helpful to know what claim it is that you think is stupid that I am supposed to respond to. I am a conservative. What about what I have said makes you think Im a DEM? That I think one of our guys could actually get indicted for lying. Looks like Im right and those that expect an indictment of Wilson are not conservatives but libertarian dope smokers.

Mrs. Clinton had better not Pipe up about how awful it is to be indicted. This is an odd place for her. Has she said anything, or kept her piehole closed.

After his interrogation by the SP, he was definitely admonished NOT to breathe a word .. and as far I know .. he's abided by that.

You have one thing right: if there is no charge on the original accusations, people are going to start raising hell about it, starting with Alan Dershowitz and some other lawyers.

MSNBC said he's going to have a press conference to tell us "where his investigation stands." Well, he's had two years; IMO, a lot of people are going to think that's enough.

Rove resign? Are you on drugs? If he has done nothing and is not indicted and yet resigns anyway, he will have announced to the looney libs that all they have to do is start an investigation on any Republican and they will quit, thereby giving the left exactly what they want.

The Republicans need MORE spine not less. Quitting is no different then calling a press conference and saying "I'm guilty"
