It took time. Two bouts of cancer, one dog, one cat. The latest is rescuing 5 kittens, my daughter cannot bear to part with them as we literally hand raised them from a week old. We just had them "fixed" so they won't be leaving babies abandoned in someone's compost pile like their mom did.
The vets and pet supply store have the fortune..and the cats and kittens own the house!

Where in Michigan? I was born and raised there...(Birmingham) but sigh...moved to Ohio 30 years ago. Still spend a lot of time in Boyne City and Big Rapids though
