Very well said. Even though I was all for giving Miers her day in the Senate Hearings and wanted to hear from her own mouth how she stood, I hope the next nominee is a good one and will not be torn apart before he or she even gets a hearing like Miers was. Its going to be a tough fight ahead for anyone whom Bush picks.
The president is getting chided for listening to the extreme right wing of the party. Is it extreme to hope that the nominee clearly support conservative values?
