No, read my posts. She had a right to hearings. She WOULD HAVE HAD HEARINGS HAD SHE NOT QUIT. She probably would have been confirmed.

I thought it was a bad nomination, but it was Bush's to make. He has his role, we have ours. Nobody's rights were violated. Not hers or ours. Don't be so dramatic.

She would not have withdrawn had the White House known she was going to be confirmed - they can count Senate votes with the best of them - and there were more than a few RINOs against Miers.

I'm not being dramatic. She had knives sticking out of her back since day one. The woman never had a chance.

Stop trying to convince yourself that what you did doesn't go against what we as a nation is supposed to stand for. That your limitations in this country is only controlled by your inability to dream high enough. That you don't have too have an ivy league education in your pocket to make it in this country.

She deserved to have her day...she was denied it.
