Yeah it was a brilliant stroke by minority of conservatives that made up the anti-Miers crowd. Now, Bush has zero political capital, and has been undermined by the same people who supposedly voted for him last year. If the new nominee fails on the floor because they're too conservativ for the democrats and the RINOs, it's the fault of the gloating anti-Miers lynch mob. This will be remembered if that happens, and those who caused it will be pegged as conservative traitors, and rightfully so.
If such a conservative nominee gets presented to the Senate, will you be fighting alongside the rest of us to expose the Dems hypocrisy, or will you just be sitting there muttering about how this is all the fault of the "anti-Miers lynch mob"? If you choose the second option, you'll have no one to blame but yourself.
