I'm not referring to legitimate concerns about Harriet Miers. I'm talking about vile attacks on her character, and the character of the President.

LOL!! In case you haven't noticed they're politicians. They get into office by making attacks on each other's character. What? You don't honestly believe the majority of the citizens of the respective states vote for the leaders by listening to what a candidate has to say do you? They listen to what the other guy has to say about the candidate and then make an 'informed' decision based on the 'vile attacks' from the other guy.
