Remember Goliad! Most of all, remember that those two losing battles led to San Jacinto, and of course, the REPUBLIC OF TEXAS. (come on, I can't pass up a hanging curve like that!)
If it takes losing a candidate or two to get the RIGHT candidate, then so be it.
If it takes losing a candidate or two to get the RIGHT candidate, then so be it. For the greater good of the Country, not a man, not a party....but the future of this Country....we need the RIGHT person sitting on SCOTUS.
