Wilson shouldn't be too upset over this since the 'campaign of character assassination' never happened and, chances are, the 'indictments against top White House advisers' probably won't either.
Doesn't it stand to reason that in order for character assassination to happen, one first has to have character?
If there ever was a "campaign of character assassination", it was the most low-key campaign in history. I sure never heard tell of it.
