Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox, but...

1. Have you noticed that this year's win doesn't have the cachet of last year's Boston Red Sox win, when they finally broke the Curse of the Bambino?

2. Why do I have this feeling the next team to break its curse will be the Chicago Cubs next year?

It's because nobody in the media, and virtually no celebrities, root for the Sox.

That's only because of the Big Media concentration in the Boston-New York Axis of Effete Eastern Intellectuals. They can stick their cachet up their achet.

The Cubs are going to wait till 2008, to make it an even hundred years.
