Let's not have this thread degenerate.
"As a Cardinal fan"
Nuff said.
Oh come on, no team ever does.
And if they had, you'd criticize them for trying to horn in on the celebration.
Give me a break. They do the congratulating in private, back in the dressing room tunnels
Way to go White SOX.
Congrats, White Sox - from the fans of the other-colored Sox.
Our turn next year...
Good. The MLB DVD pretty much just deals with the WS which was good but the Sox produced their own later on which dealt with the entire season and was much better.
I'm glad they swept. You have to Understand Chicago Baseball. If and that is a big if, the Cubs ever get to the world series they have to sweep to match what the White Sox just did..
We Own Baseball in Chicago now..... You would have to be from there to understand. The Tribune will probably run it on page 3 bottom fold...
This is HUGE For White Sox fans... No More second fiddle to those hapless Cubs fans.....
As long as any dirty Sox, Red or White keep sticking in the face of the Yankees, I am happy.
Thanks for the pings and cheering on the Stros.
If we can get our bullpen squared away.
Way to go.
Sweet Home, Chicago!
It ain't little league, dude. Both teams have class - check out the threads on the Astros players. Congrats to the Sox - see ya next year.
The Chicago White Sox are an awesome team and deserved to win this World Series. Wow, 1917...as a Red Sox fan, I sure know how you feel tonight! ;-)
"Hey Mr. Mojo, maybe the Cubs and the Bears huh? What do ya think?"
I would love to see my Cubs in it next year.
It would be amazing to be in Chicago tonight!!
What a party.
WGN is carrying local celebration on their Superstation feed - they're already had the first obligatory drunken fan cussing on the air...
1098?! I think William the Conquerer was the winning pitcher.
