I mean, of the 17 individuals identified by the U.S. State Department as having helped shape U.S. policy leading to the creation of the United Nations, all but one were later identified as secret members of the Communist Party USA. The U.N.'s first secretary-general and orchestrator of the San Francisco conference was the man later convicted and exposed as a Soviet agent, the U.S.’s own, Alger Hiss.
