Or go back to DU.

What did I miss?

.40 vs. .45 is kind of a silly question, it just doesn't matter.

Department policy, selecting a handgun with the features you need, and ensuring it fits are far more critical than choosing between two calibers that have proven records.

Finally, and most critical, learn how to shoot it well and maintain proficiency.

With a quality bullet - Gold Dot, HydraShok, SXT, Golden Saber - the difference between .40 and .45 is nil. Pick the one you shoot the best.

Eh..

I'm just commenting on a post early morning... A supposed police officer who does not know what caliber suits him.

I just got in and will have to read back the thread since this morning.

Anyhows, if your life depends on it, and you are entering a life or death situation, and do not know chit from shinola, and you have a badge (?) carry a wheel gun.

Learning to shoot and hit the mark would be helpful too.

He/she/it is most likely a troll anyhow, so why waste words.
